Simmy helps travelers compare travel eSIM plans, use secure website checkout, and get activation help. This policy explains what information we collect through the Simmy website, checkout, support, and ChatGPT app.

Information we collect

When you use the ChatGPT app, we may receive the destination or region you search for, plan filters, usage profile, optional display currency, device family, and other details you choose to provide so we can recommend compatible eSIM plans. The ChatGPT app does not ask for payment card numbers, passwords, MFA codes, government IDs, precise location, or activation codes.

When you place an order, we collect the email address, selected plan, order status, checkout metadata, and fulfillment records needed to process the eSIM purchase. Payment information is handled by Stripe; Simmy does not store full card numbers or card security codes.

When you contact support, we collect the contact details and messages you send, plus order or device details needed to help with installation or troubleshooting.

How we use information

We use information to show relevant plans, open secure checkout, fulfill eSIM orders, deliver activation instructions, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, improve Simmy, and comply with legal, tax, accounting, and security obligations.

Service providers and partners

We share information with service providers only when needed to run Simmy. Stripe processes payments and checkout. Airalo and partner carriers receive the plan, order, and fulfillment details needed to issue and activate an eSIM. Hosting, analytics, email, and support providers help us operate the service. We do not sell your personal data.

ChatGPT app

The Simmy ChatGPT app can search plans, recommend plans, and explain activation steps. Checkout happens on Simmy or Stripe pages, not inside ChatGPT. Activation credentials and QR codes are delivered through Simmy order screens or email, not through the ChatGPT app.

Data retention

We keep order, payment status, tax, fraud-prevention, and support records for as long as needed to provide Simmy, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. We keep recommendation and usage records only as long as reasonably needed for operations, analytics, and abuse prevention.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal information where applicable law gives you those rights. Some records may need to be kept for fraud prevention, tax, accounting, dispute, or legal compliance reasons.

International transfers

Simmy, our providers, and fulfillment partners may process information in countries other than where you live. We use service providers and safeguards intended to protect information during those transfers.
